Ndiema-7AM started out as a series of morning emails to our team, on what we could do differently to become better leaders, better team players, better family members, better friends and better citizens. Through this blog, I hope to include many more people in these conversations. Why the name? 7 AM, so that we can think about these things before the day catches up with us.

Nelson is the Group Executive Director of Business Development  Ndiema Group. He holds a Bachelors Degree of Medical Biochemistry & Molecular Biology from Chuka university and a professional certificate in Business process and Enterprise Application Integration Management from Metropolitan School of Business & Management, UK. He is currently pursuing  Master of Business Administration(MBA) at Strathmore University Business School. He is specialized in Molecular Biology Techniques, R&D,  and Clinical Chemistry. Mr Nelson was the key architect of  Labspec’s 4X4 strategy & approach to international expansion and has been instrumental in driving the company’s efforts in becoming the market leader in Biotechnology and Healthcare Sector across the East Africa region. Prior to joining the Group, Mr Ndiema had worked with other prestigious companies including the multinational Indian Conglomerate Godrej Consumer Products Ltd. Mr Ndiema has also worked in Kenya Medical Research Institute(KEMRI) and Kenya Industrial Research and Development Institute(KIRDI) as a Senior Research Scientist. Mr Ndiema  has researched and developed various cosmetic products which are leading in the market, this includes the TCB Hair food and Valon Body Lotions.

He has varied experience and has worked across leading FMCG companies like Godrej Consumer Products, EABL and Unilever. Nelson has successfully handled a number of FMCG categories, ranging from soaps, shampoos and hair care, to oral care.
